After suffering a 9-2 loss to N.C. State (7-9, 3-8 ACC) on Friday, the No. 11 North Carolina baseball team (13-8, 8-6 ACC) was unable to get its revenge, losing to the Wolfpack, 6-1, in a game that started on Saturday, but due to a lengthy weather delay, concluded on Monday afternoon.

After a dominant win over No. 8 East Carolina on Tuesday, the No. 11 North Carolina baseball team (13-7, 8-5 ACC) dropped the series opener, 9-2, against N.C State (6-9, 2-8 ACC) in the rivalry’s first matchup since 2019, and head coach Scott Forbes’ first as UNC's skipper.

The no. 1 UNC women’s tennis (10-0, 1-0 ACC) earned its first conference victory this season with a 5-2 win over No. 14 Virginia (4-2, 0-1 ACC) on the road in Charlottesville. The 28th straight dual-match win broke the record for the longest winning streak in North Carolina history.

The No. 14 North Carolina wrestling team (4-2, 2-2 ACC) completed its weekend in Pennsylvania with a 26-6 win against No. 25 Lehigh (3-3, 2-1 EIWA) on Saturday night on the road, extending its top-25 winning streak to two straight meets.

The North Carolina track and field team competed in its second meet of the year this past weekend at Virginia Tech's Hokie Invitational. UNC returned to Blacksburg after winning three events there the week prior. The best performances came from the men’s one-mile event, which saw the Tar Heels take first, second and fifth.

After a barrage of offensive chances in the first half, the North Carolina men's soccer team (3-2-2, 3-2-2 ACC) was unable to score in what turned into a physical, gritty game against Notre Dame (5-2, 4-2 ACC). After a scoreless regulation, Fighting Irish senior Aiden McFadden scored off a free kick in the 99th minute to defeat the Tar Heels in the ACC Tournament quarterfinals.

The North Carolina field hockey team (7-1, 7-1 ACC) and Wake Forest (2-7, 2-7) entered the final weekend of the regular season with near-opposite records, and with the Tar Heels locked into the two-seed for the ACC Tournament next week, the Demon Deacons were trying to avoid slipping further down the standings. Still, the Tar Heels came away with a 5-0 home victory on Friday to extend their winning streak to five games.
