CLARIFICATION: An earlier version of this story was unclear on Pam Hemminger's stance on Ephesus-Fordham. Tom Henkel of CHALT clarified that Hemminger has been quoted as saying she plans to review Ephesus-Fordham. Additionally, Henkel is the spokesperson for Chapel Hill Alliance for a Livable Town; he does not speak for the newly elected Chapel Hill Town Council members or Mayor-Elect Pam Hemminger.
The Chapel Hill-Carrboro Chamber of Commerce will induct seven business leaders into its Hall of Fame on Nov. 5. The Daily Tar Heel will feature each of these inductees. Jean Holcomb, owner of Viking Travel, will be among those inducted.
