Chris' Pick: Let me start this by saying I hate Tom Brady and the New England Patriots. Their unparalleled success since 2001, a run that includes five Super Bowl titles and nine appearances, is only made worse by the so-called pundits that sing their constant praises (I’m looking at you, Tedy Bruschi). However, there’s no question Brady is the greatest quarterback of all time. At the end of last season, Joe Breschi and the North Carolina men’s lacrosse team faced uncharted territory. For the first time in his 10 seasons as head coach, Breschi’s squad failed to qualify for the NCAA Tournament, finishing the season with a 7-7 mark.

The North Carolina swimming and diving teams began the 2019 season with three wins over Navy and Penn State on Saturday in Annapolis, Maryland. The Tar Heel men defeated the Nittany Lions, 155-145, but fell to the Midshipmen, 161-134. The UNC women bested Penn State, 173-127, and outlasted Navy, 192-108.
