Get a taste of "Pitch Perfect" with this year’s A Cappella Jam on March 1. Attendees will see performances by eight of the a cappella groups on campus— including the UNC Loreleis, Tar Heel Voices, the Achordants, Cadence, the Clef Hangers, Walk Ons and the Tarpeggios — as they perform to raise money for Carolina for the Kids.

The Carolina Indian Circle is hosting its 32nd annual Powwow at Fetzer Gym A on March 2. Doors will open at 10 a.m. The CIC hosts the Powwow annually to celebrate Native American culture and to emphasize the presence of the Native community on and around UNC.

The art of dance will intersect with neuroscience in a new performance at the Ackland Art Museum. On Feb. 17, choreographer and directer Killian Manning and her performance company No Forwarding Address will host a dance performance, inspired by Santiago Ramón y Cajal’s famous drawings of the human brain, that will be shown three times throughout the day.

The Ackland Art Museum is showcasing famous neuroscientist and pathologist Santiago Ramón y Cajal’s drawings of the human brain Jan. 25 - April 7 in a new exhibit called "The Beautiful Brain: The Drawings of Santiago Ramón y Cajal." The exhibit will display 80 of his most revolutionary drawings, many of which have never been seen before in the U.S.
