This past week, the North Carolina men’s swimming and diving team (Dual meet record: 3-4, 1-2 ACC) competed in the ACC Championship at the Greensboro Aquatic Center. Strong swims throughout the tournament — coupled with a good performance from the divers the week prior — saw the Tar Heels finish in seventh place, three better than last year.

With nine victories over ranked teams, the Tar Heels were able to finish as runners-up in the ACC Tournament. Their historic season ended at the NCAA Knoxville Regional Championship at the hands of Tennessee.

The North Carolina women’s soccer team (21-1-1, 9-0-1 ACC) defeated the Colorado Buffaloes (12-8-2, 3-6-2 Pac-12) 1-0 at Dorrance Field in the second round of the NCAA Tournament on Friday night. The win came in front of a crowd of 4,235 people, a record for Dorrance Field, and ensured the Tar Heels' place in Sunday's third round.
