Shruthi Sundaram, a junior and the UNC Board of Elections Chairwoman, discusses the upcoming election as well as last year's election in the Student Government office in the Union. Sundaram discussed how student government prepares for the election, what she learned by participating in last year's election, and what the differences are between the upcoming and the previous election. When asked what the biggest lesson she learned from last year's election was, Sundaram responded, "Getting off on the right foot is one of the best things you can do." Sundaram began her involvement in Student Government her freshman year at UNC.

Students wait in line outside the Memorial Hall Box Office Monday morning to buy tickets to Bill Nye. Tickets started being sold at 10 a.m. with the line consistently stretching almost to Peabody. It is expected that the tickets will sell out today.
(THIS ONE IS MY FAVORITE)Benjamin Harper, the owner of Harper Arts in Carborro, explains how the shirts are made at the factory. It is a small operation, but competes with large chains such as Target and Dick's Sporting Goods. Harper explained that in order to do that, Harper Arts had listen to and give people what they wanted in a t-shirt. All the shits are made at Harper Arts and are sold at Student Stores and Johnny T-Shirt. Harper Arts also makes shirts for NC State, ECU, and Clemson. He also said that people can stop in just to watch the shirts being made, which many people do either at night or on Saturdays.

Coach Carlos Somoano is starting his second season as the head coach of the Tar Heels as he looks for a new identity for the 2012 squad.
Kristen Powers discusses her experience with Huntington's disease, the documentary she is making about it, and why she wants to make the documentary. She wants to educate people about the disease, as well as get people educated on the subject together to spread awareness and information. The film will follow her life for about three weeks, focusing on her experience with Huntington's and her testing for it. She has raised over 10,000 dollars to be used to make the documentary. The anticipates that the documentary will be released in 2014. (interview took place at the red bicycle)
