Jackson disrupts Dunn in second round

RALEIGH — It’s incredibly hard to guard Kris Dunn. The top-seeded North Carolina men’s basketball team found that out Saturday when they took on ninth-seeded Providence. “He’s a pro,” said sophomore wing Justin Jackson after UNC’s 85-66 victory over Dunn and the Friars. "At the end of the day, he's going to get his."

Brice Johnson's frustration fuels record-breaking performance, defensive turnaround in win over Florida Gulf Coast

RALEIGH — Much like it did in the first half, frustration painted Brice Johnson’s face as he stood outside North Carolina’s locker room on Thursday. A little over an hour before, he and his teammates entered the locker room at halftime of their NCAA Tournament opener against Florida Gulf Coast, ahead by just one point over the 16th-seeded Eagles.
