Still Life held soft-opening events on Friday and Saturday, showing off its rooftop area for the first time and adding a new nightlife spot for the Chapel Hill community.
The rooftop is the only area that is open as of the soft opening. However, Still Life has plans to open more rooms in the future.
The Chapel Hill location is the second Still Life venue to open, with the original located near the East Carolina University campus in Greenville, NC.

Prologue hosts soft opening for local community to explore used and rare book collection

Prologue Used and Rare Books, a sister storefront adjacent to Epilogue Books Chocolate Brews, held its preview night event on Saturday. Although it was not the grand opening of the store, the preview allowed customers to browse Prologue's collection of used and rare books.

A Cook Out location in Chapel Hill could be on the horizon, per permit application

Chapel Hill may be welcoming its first Cook Out location at 450 South Elliott Rd., where a Burger King has resided for over 10 years. If the change of tenant is approved, the new location would be the closest one to UNC's campus. The new Cook Out will have a drive-through, as minimal changes will be made to the exterior of the building.

CVS Pharmacy on East Franklin Street to close next week, search for new tenant begins

The CVS Pharmacy located at 137 E. Franklin St. will permanently close next week on June 16. The East Franklin Street location is one of many CVS stores set to close in the coming years. Corporate Communication Director Emily Ethridge said Grubb Properties, the company that owns the space CVS is located, does not have any plans for the space at this time.

'More than just a week': Black Restaurant Week hosting second event in Carolinas
