UNC professors talk about Halloween-related folklore

As presumably all people are aware of from decorations, candy and costumes at every store, Halloween is less than a week away. Yes, Halloween, as in the annual holiday where everybody dresses up and gets a sugar-high without really knowing why.

The Compass Center hosted a screening of "Five Awake" at the Varsity Theatre.

Compass Center brings domestic violence awareness to UNC

Domestic violence is no joke and neither are the women who fight against it. This past Monday at the Varsity Theatre, Compass Center hosted a screening of the documentary, “Five Awake,” which follows five women as they work to pass important domestic violence laws in Louisiana.
