UNC men's tennis dominates Vanderbilt, 6-1, on road

The No. 4 North Carolina men’s tennis team defeated No. 27 Vanderbilt, 6-1, at the Currey Tennis Center in Nashville, Tenn. This is the Tar Heels' (12-1) second victory over the Commodores (8-4) in a month; UNC's first victory was a 4-1 win during the ITA Kick-Off Weekend.

UNC men's tennis falls in ITA semifinals to Virginia 4-0

The No. 5 North Carolina men’s tennis team lost its first match of the season in a 4-0 defeat to No. 1 Virginia in the semifinals of the ITA National Men’s Team Indoor Championship. The Cavaliers (8-0) used their home-court advantage at the Boar’s Head Sports Club to avenge their loss to the Tar Heels in the championship round of last year’s ITA National Men’s Team Indoor Championship.

UNC men's tennis sweeps opening matches despite youth

The No. 9 North Carolina men’s tennis team opened its spring season on Saturday with two shut-out victories over Bucknell and Wofford. This year, the Tar Heels' opening-day roster was comprised of eight underclassmen — a complete reversal from the team that head coach Sam Paul fielded last spring, when he had eight upperclassmen to rely on.
