UNC leads the carrier classic at half 36-25

Michigan State out-rebounded and out-hustled North Carolina for most of the first half on Friday night at the Carrier Classic. But the Tar Heels were able to put together a strong push in the latter portion of the half to overcome their early-game shortcomings and go into halftime with a 36-25 lead.

Harrison Barnes filled the role of Jimmy Chitwood, not because he took a while to start playing, although that isn’t too big of a stretch.
