Preview: Three keys to a UNC men's basketball victory over Duke in Cameron Indoor

 A look at the keys to a UNC victory in Durham this weekend.   The Tar Heels have to contain first-year center Kyle Filipowski who has been a standout for the Blue Devils this season. He leads Duke in points and rebounds per game with 15.8 and 9.5, respectively.  Key minutes off the bench from first-year guards Seth Trimble and Tyler Nickel, as well as contributions from Dunn, Washington and junior wing Puff Johnson – who looks to return following knee soreness – will likely need to provide a spark and take some of the load off the starting five.Here are three keys UNC needs to focus on in order to leave Durham with a win.

Guskiewicz introduces new Committee for Academic Freedom and Free Expression

The new Committee for Academic Freedom and Free Speech was formally charged by Chancellor Kevin Guskiewicz on Monday, Jan. 30. “This committee will advise the chancellor on ways to advance academic freedom and articulate free speech norms and best practices for the Carolina community,” a University spokesperson said in a statement. “The committee will determine the frequency with which they meet.”

Column: Sometimes, “bad” user interfaces are good

"A good interface shouldn't be noticed by the user. There should be consistency in the design of whatever websites or applications in order to offer the user a feeling of control. In the sense that being “good” is to be accessible, open and convenient, this definition is correct, but I feel like it is limited."
