A potential recession in 2020 has soon-to-be graduates worried about finding a job

Among the regular post-graduation fears, mixed reports on a possible future recession have students searching for alternate employment plans to make. Some graduating UNC students are preparing for the possibility of a declining job market.  Despite economic indicators pointing to a recession in the near future, researchers say the Triangle may be able to weather a downturn. Alumni point to the Great Recession in 2009 as an example of less than ideal economic conditions to enter the labor market under.
