Read More »The Chapel Hill Police Department is currently searching for a suspect who passed a fraudulent check at about 1:30 p.m. Nov. 2 at the BB&T on East Rosemary Street, according to a press release. The individual is also suspected of passing similar counterfeit checks around the area, the press release states. Police are seeking help in identifying the suspect and ask that anyone with information call either the Chapel Hill Police Department at 968-2760 or Crime Stoppers at 942-7515.
