UNC women's soccer pays for slow start against Duke

The North Carolina women’s soccer team was late to bring the heat on Friday night, and the delay came at a cost. A slow first half set up No. 7 UNC for its first home loss of the season, a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Duke. It was the first time the Blue Devils had defeated the Tar Heels since 2005.

UNC women's soccer drops first match of season

The No. 1 North Carolina women’s soccer team looked to be well on its way to continuing its undefeated season. The Tar Heels looked dominant to start the match against Louisville on Thursday, scoring the first goal of the game on a strike from sophomore Alex Kimball. But her goal was the lone score of the night for UNC, as North Carolina loss 2-1 in overtime.

UNC women's soccer remains undefeated, tops Boston College

Despite rainfall and relocation, the North Carolina women’s soccer team wouldn’t let the game slip away. What was initially scheduled as a Friday night showdown became an afternoon slip-and-slide for UNC and Boston College. Because of poor field conditions and adverse weather, the Tar Heels' second ACC home game was moved off campus to Cedar Falls Park.
