Five Tar Heels selected in NFL Draft

10 P.M. SUNDAY -- Hakeem Nicks Richard Quinn Brandon Tate Garrett Reynolds and Brooks Foster all were selected in this weekend's NFL Draft tying Maryland for the most picks from a school in the ACC and the largest draft class for the Tar Heels since 2002. Nicks was selected by the New York Giants as the 29th pick of the NFL Draft on Saturday making it two straight first-round picks for the Tar Heels and the 18th in UNC history.

QB Sexton will graduate in May

12:30 P.M." WEDNESDAY JAN. 14 -- North Carolina quarterback Cameron Sexton informed the coaching staff earlier this week that he will graduate from UNC in May with a degree in communications.  Sexton an academic senior who started six games in 2008" has one year of football eligibility remaining and will explore his options for continuing his playing career next season.
