After missing out on a chance to compete in the NCAA tournament following his senior season, former UNC wrestler A.C. Headlee has moved on to post-collegiate competition.
“To win a match 3-0 for this team, a young team, I think that’s a really good statement,” UNC head coach Joe Sagula said.
A new ram prepares to take on the role of UNC's live mascot. Currently known as Otis, this young ram will become Rameses XXII after the retirement of the well-loved Rameses XXI.
"For the most part, we tried to do a large majority of our interviews in person and that, for the moment, has slowed way down," Jones Angell said. "We went almost exclusively either on the phone, Skype interviews or Zoom interviews as well. We have tried to do a lot of different stuff, maybe in a different way than we've done in the past."
“What I really feel in my heart and what I appreciate so much about the scholarship is the fact that both my wife and I’s names are attached to it. The alums were gracious in including both of us, and I think that represents a true sense of family,” former UNC Gymnastics head coach Derek Galvin said.
