Several of the University’s graduate programs placed high in rankings by the magazine U.S. News and World Report for its 2012 edition of “America’s Best Graduate Schools.”
The Gillings School of Global Public Health placed second for master’s and doctorate degree programs and third in health care management, among other areas.
The School of Medicine placed second in primary care and tied for second in family medicine, among other areas.
The School of Nursing tied for fourth place overall for master’s degree programs in the field. Several other schools and programs received high ranks as well.
