Police log for April 13, 2017

• Someone was publicly inebriated at the 100 block of East Franklin Street at 1:13 p.m. Monday, according to Chapel Hill police reports.

• Someone reported disorderly conduct at I Love New York Pizza at 106 W. Franklin St. at 10:11 p.m. Monday, according to Chapel Hill police reports.

• Someone committed larceny from a motor vehicle and financial crime at Hayes Road at 10:09 a.m. Tuesday, according to Chapel Hill police reports.

The person stole the victim’s driver license and debit card, valued at $26 total, from the vehicle and made purchases, reports state.

• Someone broke and entered a residence with no force at the 300 block of Hillsborough Street at 10:48 a.m. Tuesday, according to Chapel Hill police reports.

The person entered the home through an unlocked window and stole jewelry, the jewelry box and a drill, valued at $731 total, reports state.

• Someone committed larceny at the Lowes at 1801 Fordham Blvd. at 4:22 p.m. Tuesday, according to Chapel Hill police reports.

The person attempted to return a generator they didn’t pay for, valued at $858.93, and then left with the product, reports state.
