Learn About Research By Undergraduates and Plan Your Own Project

By Undergraduates and Plan Your Own Project

TO THE EDITOR:

Have you been interested in finding out more about undergraduate research opportunities at UNC-CH?

Plan to join us from 1:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. Friday afternoon in Graham Memorial Hall's Johnston Center for Undergraduate Excellence, where undergraduates from a wide variety of departments will present research projects.

The topics range from rap music to weightlifting and from ozone levels in the Triangle to depression affecting our elderly population.

The afternoon will include poster presentations, short talks and performances. Some of these students also presented their results for members of the N.C. General Assembly last week in Raleigh.

Come and hear what they've done, meet their advisers and co-authors and plan to get involved in the University's research mission.

For a complete schedule with links to the abstracts, please visit the Office of Undergraduate Research Web site at http://www.unc.edu/depts/our.
