Police Make Arrests for Cocaine, Concealed Weapon

Officers later found five dosage units of cocaine at the scene of the arrest.

At 2:20 a.m., a fight broke out outside of Alley Oops Treehouse, located at 157 E. Rosemary St. Police arrested Amity Dugan, 25, of Weldon Drive, Dakarai Ramseur, 23, of 110 Five Oaks Lane in Pittsboro and Joel Totten, 24, of 124 Manchester Drive in Goldston at 2:49 a.m.

Dugan faces four misdemeanor counts of assault by pointing a gun, one misdemeanor count of carrying a concealed weapon and one felony count of possession of cocaine with intent to sell and deliver, reports state. Ramseur faces one misdemeanor count of assault with a deadly weapon, one misdemeanor count of carrying a concealed weapon and one felony count of possession of cocaine with intent to sell and deliver, reports state.

Reports also state that Totten is being charged with one felony count of assault with bodily injury, one misdemeanor count of carrying a concealed weapon and one felony count of possession of cocaine with intent to sell and deliver.

Ramseur was given a $5,000 secured bond, reports state. Reports also state that Dugan and Totten both received a $2,500 secured bond. All three men were due to appear in the Orange County District Court in Hillsborough on Monday.
