You know, I'm getting out of here in May, but here's my two cents about the professors' complaints about salary. The cost of living in Berkeley is so much more than in Chapel Hill. Plain and simple. The difference is more than the $10,000 salary difference. Take this from someone who has lived in Chapel Hill for four years and is applying to both schools for graduate school. The difference in rent alone is enough to make up the difference in pay. So would you please leave our tuition alone?
