We were at the Oklahoma City bombing. We were in Eastern North Carolina during Hurricane Floyd.
We were in New York City and Washington, D.C. on Sept. 11. In fact, each year we are at over 60,000 disasters worldwide.
We are the American Red Cross, and we are establishing ourselves on the UNC campus as the American Red Cross Club at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. If you are interested in instructing CPR classes on campus, mentoring high school youth, teaching elementary school students basic aid, helping those struck by disaster, becoming part of an international humanitarian organization, making a positive impact on our community and saving lives, we invite you to attend our general body meeting at 8 p.m. Wednesday in 103 Bingham Hall.
If you have any questions, please e-mail us at redcross@unc.edu.
Help us help others.
