The show will kick off its tour of all 50 states in North Carolina with a student-oriented show including participants from UNC-Chapel Hill, Duke University and N.C. State University.
After hosts Diane Sawyer and Charlie Gibson spend Sunday night in the residence halls at Duke, they will film their entire morning show, from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m., at UNC-CH.
UNC-CH-specific segments of the program will include a look at the Rare Book Collection in Wilson Library and live appearances at Polk Place, the Pit and the Bell Tower.
UNC-CH students participating include the cheerleading squad, the men's soccer team, school mascots and University musical groups.
The show also will include a medical report on Duke's anger management program and a forum among students at N.C. State about issues of college life.
Coverage of the event will begin at 5 a.m. on local ABC affiliates, and organizers suggest that students, faculty, staff and community members arrive by 6:45 a.m.
"Good Morning America" last filmed at UNC-CH in fall 1998.
