Let's get excited Tar Heels! During this week, Habitat for Humanity will have an awesome event called the Pit Build. We're going to build a shed from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. near the Pit, and we invite everyone to come and see. We will even sleep the night in our nifty shed. The Pit Build is part of "Habifest 2002 -- A Celebration of Awareness," whose purpose is to raise awareness about the presence of Habitat for Humanity, thereby stimulating current and recruiting new volunteers and affiliates to build more homes, house more people and continue to make a difference in people's lives, one house at a time. So come on by and check us out. You won't be disappointed.
