Juniors: Nominations for Commencement Speaker Available, Due Friday

Attention juniors: Your senior class officers are encouraging you all to nominate a Commencement speaker of your choice for both the December 2002 and May 2003 ceremonies!

Typically, a faculty member from within the University speaks at the December ceremonies, while a more prominent, public figure will speak at the May ceremonies.

The nomination process is extremely easy to complete, as it will only take a minute of your time.

You may do this by going to http://seniors.unc.edu, where you will find a link to the Commencement speaker nomination form.

The form asks you to nominate a speaker and then state how you feel this person will honor our university and bring a unique message.

As your senior class officers, we will be representing your input on the Commencement Speaker Advisory Board. This is your chance to tell the University who it is you would like sending us off on the hour that is the culmination of our stay at Carolina.

We are accepting nominations until Friday at 10 p.m. We look forward to receiving your input.

Paymon Rouhanifard
President, Class of '03
