I grabbed a DTH Tuesday morning hoping to see who won the NCAA tournament but couldn't find a score. I can't say I was surprised by The Daily Tar Heel's lack of game coverage.
For the past two years, I have watched the DTH forgo professional journalism and seemingly boycott Final Four reports because UNC was not in the tournament.
I love Carolina and want teams like Duke and Maryland to lose just as much as the next fan. But I am incredibly disappointed in the DTH staff. To not cover a national story because of team rivalries is childish. I expect much more from a paper that has won as many awards as the DTH.
