Arguments Made During the 'No War in Iraq' Teach-In Are Based On Highly Misleading Claims

While in general I am not in agreement with the conservative agenda, I would like to express my appreciation for Michael McKnight's column regarding the "No War in Iraq" teach-in held recently. I too attended the teach-in and was frustrated with the words of the "educators" during the course of the evening.

McKnight made excellent points and observations, and while my seat in the back of the room during the event prevents any verification of odors given off by the presenters, all other arguments are exactly right. I am glad someone noticed how faulty the claims made at the teach-in were, for too often is the conservative opinion viciously attacked.

It was finally reassuring to see a well-written column that not only critiqued weak arguments of the "no war" side but simultaneously gave clever reasons for the need for immediate action. For progress to come we must take action now.
