4 p.m. -- The Study Abroad Office is hosting a faculty-led information session for science students in Meeting Room 3 of the Student Union.
6:30 p.m. -- Carolina Association of Black Journalists invites students interested in gaining experience in journalism and mass communication to attend the workshop "On-Campus Media: Making it Pay Off for You." The workshop will be in 11 Carroll Hall and feature representatives from your favorite on-campus publications and broadcasts. Attend and find out how to get involved.
7 p.m. -- The members of the UNC Green Energy Campaign will present a showing of the Dr. Seuss classic "The Lorax" in 08 Gardner Hall, followed by a discussion of the campaign. Tasty cookies will be provided!
8 p.m. -- The Sheafer Lab Theater at Duke University's Bryan Center begins its production of Little Shop of Horrors. It will run through Sunday at 8 p.m. and Sunday and Jan. 25 and Jan. 26 at 2 p.m. Tickets may be obtained by calling the Duke University Box Office at 684-4444.
