Carolina ROCTS To Host Day for Service

The service organization Carolina Rejuvenating Our Community Through Service is holding its third annual Day for Service on Monday.

The registration deadline is Thursday. ROCTS officials urge all interested community members to register and participate.

The program aims to attract students, faculty and all members of the University community to participate in the Day for Service for the improvement of the Chapel Hill area.

County Red Cross Seeks Donors for Blood Drive

Due to a critically low blood level, the Orange County Red Cross is hosting a blood drive on campus through Thursday for students, staff and faculty.

The drive, which began Tuesday, will be held in Student Union 2518 today and Thursday.

The Red Cross will collect donations from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday.
