TO THE EDITOR:
Emily Batchelder's latest article concerning whether men actually understand the concept of feminism was, to put it lightly, an unfortunate misunderstanding in and of itself.
There are many examples of men who are feminists and there are arguably just as many examples of women who aren't feminists. Therefore, it is disingenuous for Batchelder to claim feminism for women and then to argue that "women's rights" are synonymous with "everyone's rights."
I recommend that feminists engage the myopically content - not men per se - because it is equally likely that a man is going to agree with you than not.
