The Daily Tar Heel is soliciting letters of endorsement for candidates in the local, state and presidential elections. A selection of these letters will be printed Tuesday.
Although the presidential race is garnering the most prominent headlines, readers are advised to contemplate all contests that pertain to local and state residents and UNC students. Submissions concerning local and state races will be given just as much consideration as presidential endorsements.
The same rules that apply to regular letters to the editor will apply to endorsements. Publication won't be guaranteed, and the DTH reserves the right to edit submitted material for space, clarity and vulgarity.
Writers should e-mail their letters to editdesk@unc.edu or deliver them by noon Monday to the DTH front office in Suite 2409 of the Student Union.
