Thursday — The new Graduate Student Center — which will provide UNC’s graduate student community with a place where students from all disciplines and departments can meet, work or share research ideas — will open during an open house from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at 140 E. Franklin St.
The center houses computer portals and an LCD projector. Conference room space is available at the center for graduate, professional and postdoctoral student groups and graduate education events.
