Friday — Sangam will present the first South Asian Film Festival from 6 p.m. to midnight, which will continue from 3 p.m. to midnight Saturday, in 116 Murphey Hall.
The festival will feature a variety of movies from South Asian countries, including India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Afghanistan.
From 6 to 7 p.m. Friday, a South Indian dinner will be served from Sitar Indian Restaurant for $3. From 7 to 8 p.m. Saturday, a North Indian dinner will be served for the same price. The price of either dinner is $5 for diners who did not attend at least one film viewing.
Refreshments will be sold during the show for $1. All proceeds from the festival will aid tsunami relief efforts.
