Administrative building is victim of breaking, entering

Police responded to a report of breaking and entering at the University’s administrative office building on Airport Road for the second time in the last year Tuesday morning, University police reports state.

According to reports, an unknown person entered office 2702 and attempted to pry open a drawer containing credit card and other personal information.

Police suspect a current or former employee with access to keys and security codes, reports state.

 

Construction equipment stolen from site on campus

Police responded to a felony larceny report at 1:35 p.m. Tuesday at the public health construction site on South Columbia Street, University police reports state.

According to reports, the site manager reported a $3,000 bricksaw and a $2,500 plate compactor missing. The items were last seen Friday, reports state.
