A Wisconsin resident was arrested Saturday on three misdemeanor charges of underage possession of a malt beverage, soliciting without a permit and possession of an open container, Chapel Hill Police reports state.

According to reports, Kevin Lee Parish, 18, of Oshkosh, Wis. was arrested at about 6:15 p.m. Saturday at Valley Park Drive in Chapel Hill.

Police were responding to a suspicious person call when they found Parish with an open container of beer in his pocket, from which he had been drinking, reports state.

Reports state that Parish, a Hy- Pro Chemical Corporation employee, had no identification and was trying to sell a cleaning product without a permit.

Paris was confined at the Orange County Jail on a $160 secured bond, according to reports.

He is to appear in district criminal court in Hillsborough on Nov. 28.

 

A Wilmington resident was arrested early Friday morning for impaired driving, police reports state.

Philip Todd Park, an employee of Magic Painting, was pulled over at a traffic stop on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, reports state.

According to reports, Park, refused the Intoxilyzer and was taken to Orange County Jail.

Park is to appear in administrative traffic court in Chapel Hill on Oct. 25.

 

Three Chapel Hill residents were arrested early Friday morning on drug charges after police executed a search warrant at 207 Pittsboro St., police reports state.

According to reports, UNC student and resident of the home, Kaitlyn Adain Goodnight, 21, was arrested on one misdemeanor count of having drug paraphernalia.

UNC student, Harold Keith Hodson, 19, of 502 Edwards Drive was arrested for misdemeanor possession of less than half of an ounce of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Laura Elizabeth Lindsey, 20, a resident of the house, also was arrested for misdemeanor drug possession and having drug paraphernalia. According to reports, she was found with 7.2 grams of marijuana.

All three were cited for the charges and released. They are to appear in district criminal court in Chapel Hill on Oct. 25.

 

A Chapel Hill woman reported larceny early Saturday morning, according to police reports.

Reports state that the woman's purse was taken from Players, 159 1/2 E. Franklin St.

Several items were in the purse including a camera valued at $500 and a cell phone valued at $350.
