Town wants three residents for air advisory committee
The town of Chapel Hill is looking for three residents to fill vacancies on the air quality advisory committee. One of the vacancies is for an energy industry representative.
The group has been created by Chapel Hill, the town of Carrboro and Orange County as a part of the Orange County-Chapel Hill-Carrboro Joint Greenhouse Gas Emissions Reduction and Action Plan.
Committee members will meet four to five times, or about once a month from November to March, to help develop the action plan.
