A 20-year-old Winston-Salem man was the victim of assault with a deadly weapon at about 4 a.m. Sunday at Players, Chapel Hill police reports state.
Reports state that the victim said he had been stabbed during a fight at the establishment at 159 1/2 E. Franklin St.
The case is under further investigation.
A 51-year-old woman from Lake Wylie, S.C. was arrested on charges of driving while impaired and failure to stop at the scene of an accident at about 11 p.m. Sunday, Chapel Hill police reports state.
According to reports Patricia D. Reimers was arrested after she was involved in a hit-and-run accident near the intersection of Hamilton and Maxwell roads.
Reports state that she hit two parked cars, struck a third moving vehicle and stopped in a travel lane.
Police found her asleep in her vehicle, reports state.
According to reports she performed poorly on a standardized field sobriety test and was too intoxicated to take an Intoxilyzer test. Her vehicle was impounded.
Reports state that Reimers was released on a written promise to appear in District Criminal Court on April 25.
A car was found Sunday in UNC's S1 parking lot, adjacent to the Department of Public Safety building, with a damaged windshield, University police reports state.
A small object probably struck the passenger side window frame resulting in a crack, according to the reports. The estimated cost of damage is $300.
