  • ?Someone entered a home by prying open a window, escaping with an estimated $2,485 worth of electronics and accessories, according to Chapel Hill police reports. The incident, at 1105 N.C. 54 bypass, was reported at 12:33 p.m. Wednesday, according to reports. An IBM ThinkPad notebook computer, an iPod and a Sony DVD/VHS player were among the items stolen, reports state.
  • ?An iPod, a toiletry bag and a pouch were reported stolen from a 1997 black Volvo 960 at 9:24 p.m. Wednesday, according to Chapel Hill police reports. Someone removed the items by opening an unlocked car door. The Volvo was parked at 108 Cameron Ave., reports state.
  • Police recovered a stolen vehicle at 104 New Stateside Drive at 3:29 p.m. Wednesday, according to Chapel Hill police reports. The vehicle was a 1988 red Toyota Camry, according to reports.
  • Someone entered a residence at 146 Lake Ellen Drive at 11:52 a.m. Wednesday by prying open the back door, according to Chapel Hill police reports. About $100 of damage was caused to the back door frame, reports state.
