  • Someone broke into the Chi Psi Fraternity at 321 W. Cameron Ave. early Sunday morning, according to Chapel Hill police reports. An unknown suspect was reported as having entered the house through an unlocked window at 3:40 a.m., according to reports.
  • Lenetta Lashone Thompson, 33, of 707 Pritchard Ave. Ext., was arrested on an outstanding warrant for larceny Sunday, according to Chapel Hill police reports. She was transported to the police department for processing but was uncooperative during the arrest and booking and was not fingerprinted. Thompson was taken to Orange County Jail and was scheduled to appear Monday in court.
  • Robert Lamont Moore, 26, was arrested Sunday morning for driving while impaired and with a suspended or restricted license, according to Chapel Hill police reports. Moore, of 114 Shadowood Drive, was stopped on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard near Hillsborough Street for speeding. After officers smelled alcohol, Moore performed and failed sobriety tests, according to reports. Moore was confined in Orange County Jail on $250 secured bond. He is scheduled to appear in court Feb. 19, reports state.
  • A man was arrested during a traffic stop at 10:08 p.m. Saturday on a half dozen charges, according to Chapel Hill police reports. Robert Parks Walden, 20, was stopped on Cameron Avenue after making an illegal right on red. He was arrested when discovered to have marijuana in his possession as well as other drug paraphernalia. He blew a 0.13 on an Intoxilyzer, reports state. Walden was charged with misdemeanor counts of possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, driving with a provisional license, open beverage, driving on the wrong side and turning right on red, according to reports. He signed a written promise to appear in court March 4, reports state.
