  • Dog feces wrapped in tissue paper were found Monday in the yard at 213 Old Barn Lane, according to Chapel Hill police reports.
  • A Chapel Hill man was arrested at 1:55 a.m. Tuesday on Sunset Drive after running from police who were trying to arrest him on an outstanding warrant, according to Chapel Hill police reports. Reginald Eugene Farrington, 42, whose address is listed as the streets, was charged with misdemeanor counts of resisting arrest and larceny. He also was charged with one felony count of larceny of a credit card after police found a stolen credit card, reports state. Farrington was confined at Orange County Jail in lieu of $600 bail and was scheduled to appear in court Tuesday, reports state.
  • A skirt, valued at $49, was stolen Monday from a rack by the door of Dillard's at 201 S. Estes Drive, Chapel Hill police reports state.
  • ?Breaking and entering and larceny from a vehicle were reported at 3:10 p.m. Monday at 708 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., according to Chapel Hill police reports. Someone broke the car's window and stole a Dell laptop valued at $1,000. Damage of $100 to the window also was reported.
