  • Larceny by an employee was reported at 4:43 p.m. Wednesday at the Dillard's at 201 S. Estes Drive, according to Chapel Hill police reports. A employee falsified gift cards, the report states. The report states that 35 items of clothing, valued at $1,200, were stolen.
  • A purse was reported stolen from the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity house at 106 Fraternity Court at 3:35 a.m. Sunday, according to Chapel Hill police reports. A Coach purse, valued at $50; a Kate Spade wallet, valued at $50; a RAZR cell phone, valued at $150; a Canon digital camera valued at $200; keys; a student identification card; a debit card and $80 in cash were reported stolen.
  • An unlocked house was entered and burglarized some time between 2 a.m. and 11 a.m. Saturday on Dawes Street, according to Chapel Hill police reports. A Sony PlayStation, valued at $399, two Sony game controllers, valued at $49, three Blu-ray discs, valued at $29, and four game cartridges, valued at $59, were reported stolen.
  • Two surfboards were reported stolen at 6:53 p.m. Sunday at 311 Old Forest Creek Road, according to Chapel Hill police reports. The South Point surfboards are valued at $600 and $500, according to reports.
  • Someone kicked the driver's side mirror of a blue 1996 Mercedes C280 at 3:21 p.m. Sunday at 1300 Legacy Terrace, according to Chapel Hill police reports. Damage of $500 to the mirror was reported.
  • A blunt object was used to bust the windshield of a white 1999 Honda Accord parked at 1000 N. Heritage Circle, according to Chapel Hill police reports. Damage of $200 to the windshield was reported at 1:06 a.m. Sunday, according to reports.
