An Efland man was arrested for marijuana possession at 3 a.m. Sunday at South Columbia Street, according to Chapel Hill police reports.
Brandon Dustin Alwood, 25, faces misdemeanor charges for marijuana possession and an expired registration, reports state.
Police seized 6 grams of marijuana, reports state.
Alwood is scheduled to appear in court June 1, according to reports.
