  • Someone drove off from a gasoline station Tuesday without paying, according to Chapel Hill Police reports. The gasoline, valued at $30.36, was stolen from the Wilco at 1213 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., reports state.
  • Someone cut a padlock, entered a tool shed, and stole lawn equipment Wednesday, according to Chapel Hill police reports. A $1,000 tiller and a $500 power washer were reported stolen, the report states. All of the equipment was recovered, according to reports.
  • Attempted first-degree rape was reported Thursday, according to Carrboro Police reports. Police responded at 12:43 a.m., reports state.
  • Police responded Wednesday to a report of suspicious condition when a gray car was seen driving slowly through the area of Manor Ridge Drive, according to Carrboro police reports. Before an officer arrived, the caller advised that the vehicle was a student driver with a sign marked as such on top, according to reports. No further assistance was requested.
