TO THE EDITOR:
Before the North Carolina primary I wrote a letter to the editor saying that even though North Carolina's primary vote does not come early it still matters and we should all make it to the polls.
It turned out that our primary did carry more weight than in years past and our vote next week matters just as much. North Carolina has been classified this year as a toss-up state. Whoever your candidate of choice may be make certain to vote.
When the polls close Tuesday evening eyes across the country will be on North Carolina: make the Old North State proud with the highest voter count ever. But be careful on the ballot. When picking the people who represent you in government there is no shame in making certain you do it right.
