Dance Marathon was an iconic UNC experience

TO THE EDITOR:

Line dances raves tired feet1000 students and money raised for beautiful children sums up my weekend. Yes this past weekend was UNC's 11th annual Dance Marathon and what an amazing experience it was! I will never forget the tears smiles and laughter that echoed through Fetzer Gym.

I have never felt so many emotions in 24 hours nor did I recognize one vital thing: how truly amazing students at UNC are. The money we raised goes directly to the well-being of children.

Thank you dancers committee leaders and all the people who gave their energy into this event for helping me realize how remarkable UNC is and how grateful I am to be a part of something that's bigger than me.
