Ryan Houston and Shaun Draughn combined for more than 130 yards and four touchdowns to lead the offensive effort in UNC's 42-12 win against Georgia Southern (3-3).

Defensively, the Tar Heels forced six turnovers, two of which they immediately turned into touchdowns. Bruce Carter returned an interception for a score, and Quan Sturdivant did the same with a fumble.
The six turnovers UNC recorded were the most the Tar Heels have forced in a single game since 1999 against Duke.
