Davis Library: 

  • Dec. 10, 14-17: 8 a.m. to 2 a.m.
  • Dec. 11: 8 a.m. to midnight
  • Dec. 12: 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Dec. 13: 11 a.m. to 2 a.m.
  • Dec. 18: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

 

Pros: On campus, quiet, very spacious, privacy, free Wi-Fi, computing labs, possible shenanigans at midnight on the first day of exams

Cons: No food or coffee available in the building  

 

Undergraduate Library:

  •  Dec. 9-11, 14-17: 24 hours
  •  Dec. 12: Closes at midnight
  •  Dec. 13: Opens at 11 a.m.
  •  Dec. 18: Close at 5pm  

 

Pros: On campus, quiet, spacious, privacy, free Wi-Fi, computing labs, possible shenanigans at midnight on the first day of exams, overnight

Cons: No food or coffee available in the building  

 

Student Union: 

  •  Dec. 10-11, 14-17: 7:30 a.m. to 2 a.m. 
  •  Dec. 12: 9 a.m. to 2 a.m. 
  •  Dec. 13: 11 a.m. to 2 a.m.
  •  Dec. 18: 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Annex is open 24 hours to anyone with a One Card

 

Pros: Alpine Bagel, good for discussions, free Wi-Fi, computing lab

Cons: Noisy, crowded  

 

SASB South:  

  • Dec. 9-11, 14-17: 7:30 a.m. to midnight (One Card required for entry after 10 p.m. and all-night access)
  • Dec 12-13: 8 a.m. to midnight (One Card required for entry after 10 p.m. and all-night access)
  • Dec. 18: 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Cons: No late-night snacking options  

 

Chapel Hill Public Library: 

  •  Dec.14-16: 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  •  Dec. 10, 17: 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  •  Dec. 11, 18: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  •  Dec. 12: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  •  Dec. 13: 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

 

Pros: Fewer students, free Wi-Fi

Cons: Far from campus, closes early, library card required for computer terminal use   

 

Caribou Coffee: 

  •  Opens Dec 10, 6:30 a.m. 
  •  Closes Dec 12, 11:30 p.m. 
  •  Dec 13: 6:30 a.m. to midnight

 

Pros: Caffeine, free Wi-Fi, overnight, food 

Cons: Can get crowded, off campus (P2P pick-up available), possibly no Wi-Fi between midnight and 4 a.m.  

 

Starbucks: 

  •  Dec. 10-11, 14-18: 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.
  •  Dec. 12: 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.
  •  Dec. 13: 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.

 

Pros: Caffeine, Wi-Fi capability, food

Cons: Only 2 hours daily of Wi-Fi with $5 Starbucks card (must register before use), small space, off campus (P2P pick-up available)  

 

Chill Bubble Tea:

  •  Dec. 10, 14-17: 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
  •  Dec. 11-12, 18: 11 a.m. to midnight
  •  Dec. 13: Noon to 10 p.m.

 

Pros: Free Wi-Fi, small lounge upstairs, beverages inside, food nearby

Cons: Off campus (P2P pick-up available)  

 

Sugarland: 

  • Dec. 10-11, 14-18: 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Dec. 12-13: 9 a.m. to midnight
