Junior Will Graves paced the Tar Heels with 17 points, including a banked 3-pointer to propel UNC in the lead with less than one minute remaining.
North Carolina led by as many as eight points in the first half, but the Bulldogs quickly erased that thanks to their quartet of players averaging in double figures.
With the win, UNC advances to the third round of the National Invitational Tournament, where it will either face N.C. State or UAB.
