The women’s lacrosse team will look to make another run in this year’s NCAA Tournament, having already beaten defending national champions Northwestern 18-16 this year in what was a rematch of last year’s title game.
On Sunday, the Tar Heels received a No. 3 seed in the tournament, marking their sixth consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance and the second time in as many seasons that they’ve been among the top three seeds.
The Tar Heels are scheduled to play unseeded Navy on Saturday at noon at Fetzer Field.
